| Watch the SG marathon today. My husband ran it. EVERYONE was so great....even in the record high blistering heat! later that night while husband at preisthood session, ran 3 miles on TM.....(im getting there, slowly, but surely!)

| did "jillian michaels: Yoga meltdown". Later that night ran 3 miles with my friend Joelle. It was fun to talk to her and hear about her experience in the SG marathon. She has already signed up for Ogden marathon and wants me to sign up.....not sure if I want to be that ambitious yet....we will see! |

| 3 on TM. I could have gone more, but I got bored on it!!! Later went on 30mile bike ride with husband. It was brutle, we rode up 2 very very very steep hills, I felt like I was almost at a standstill, I had to keep peddling or else I was going to fall over!

| 18 mile bike ride with husband today. We decided to ride up Snow Canyon. Let me tell you, I now have an even better appreciation for running! I thought running up SC was a challenge, try biking it! Coming down was alot more fun, exhillarating, and scarey! We rode down the Marathon Course. I clocked going 38 mph on my bike and the only 2 thoughts going through my head were: 1. I have gotten speeding tickets for going this fast before and 2. people die in CARS going this fast! After, We went and picked up Ryan's packet for the Tour De St George 100 miler tomorrow. He keeps trying to talk me into doing it and Im to chicken! The longest bike ride I have done is 40 miles. I promised him I would do the Springtime Tour De St George.....I better start practicing!

Ryan had the day off for UEA, so we decided to go on a longer bike ride today. We did the Ironman loop from my mother in laws house (she babysat the kids) which is 46 miles--my longest ride yet . That is a tough loop and I can't imagine doing in twice, plus swimming 2.4 miles and running a full marathon after wards! My husband signed up to the the SG Ironman this yr and asked me today if I wanted to do it, and I actually entertained the thought until I went up those 2 killer hills between Gunlock and Veyo! After the hills though it was fun, because Ryan and I ate lunch at the little grill in Veyo. Had a turkey sandwich...which was very delicious! I love my husband and it is so fun to do stuff like that together!

| rode Ironman loop again today (46 miles) with Ryan. Met some other bikers from Vegas up training for IM and rode with them for awhile, then ate lunch with them too. The hills didn't seem as bad today and they did last time I rode...another fun day! |

| ran 3 on TM. My knee has been bothering me a little and someone told me that it might be my shoes, so I went to the running ctr and Steve said that I was in the wrong type of shoe. I was in a Stability shoe for pronaters and I just needed a neutral shoe. So anyway, this was the first time I have ran in something other than my Ascis Kayanos in a very long time (probably like 10+ yrs)! I really have loved those shoes! But if it helps me run, then I am all for change. I got Brookes Ghost 3 and they seem ok to me for my big 3 miler that I logged today! Later, drove out to Sand Hallow Reservoir with Ryan and we were going to bike the Olympic Triathlon loop out there, but 2 miles into the ride Ryan got a flat tire and we didn't have a spare......so We decided to forgo the calorie burning and opt out for calorie consumption instead and we ended up eating at Texas Roadhouse! yummy!

| Today biked with my husband and a few people from the Tri club. We did the Ironman loop from my house which was 51 miles (the farthest I had ever biked!). I only did one loop then I was pooped, everyone else did 2 loops....wow, they are awesome. It was fun to go with new people, I stuggled to keep up though--just motivation to get better!
